Please be aware that our marketplace and website is based in the UK. The Gaia Flutes’ business operates in the “digital / electronic” domain. You therefor agree to the use of electronic methods of handling your data, such as (but not limited to) policies, orders and transaction information, signatures, communications, receipts, record keeping, delivery notices. You waive any rights (including legal rights) which would require an original signature or processing of any data by any “non-electronic” means. This simply helps us to keep our business operations as smooth as possible. For example, we do not accept cash or cheques as methods of payment for our products.

We or third parties relating to our site may use cookies and/or other tracking technologies (such as pixels).

No personal data (such as names / addresses) is used by them. You can opt out of non-essential cookies, which the site will ask you when your first visit, however bear in mind if you opt out some functions on the website (such as video playback) may not work. We don’t knowingly collect information from children and as per our terms and conditions, users of our site and our online products, services or experiences agree that they are an adult and are the bill payer of any purchases.

Where required, data may need to be shared with third parties. We take your privacy seriously, and we make efforts to ensure that your data is only shared with relevant third parties to ensure continued business operations, through legitimate interest, so that we can deliver our contracted goods and services to you, to comply with laws, to improve your experience and to meet business obligations. Third Parties may include payment processing providers to ensure a secure check out process, order fulfilment providers and delivery couriers to ensure you receive your products, financial analytics tools and government bodies when required by law, web site hosting providers, data storage service providers, email and messaging services and any other apps or integrations in order for you to use and log in to our site securely and effectively. Some data may be used to help us understand how users interact with our website to help us improve the site experience.
We do not sell, trade or rent any of your data to third parties for promotional purposes.
7. Marketing & Communications & Opt Out
We mainly communicate with users via email for all things relating to products and services, answering users queries and more. Although rare, from time to time we may also need to communicate via other methods such as phone calls, SMS. Please be aware of scams. We will ask you for your password. We will message a user on social media DM, comment etc regarding your website orders or issue resolutions. All related comms will be via email and you will receive messages from info@gaiaflutes.com , and only for issues where email contact has failed will we resort to Phone/SMS. We and/or your courier may contact you via Phone/SMS to provide delivery updates or regarding delivery issues. We will never send any communications via any method asking you to click any links to make a sudden payment or transfer money via bank transfer, be it cash or crypto currency, or any other trade of any kind that exchanges value. We would only ever link /refer customers to our website shop/product pages on (www.gaiaflutes.com) , where the customer can then, in their own time, without pressure, choose if they wish to make a purchase. Beware of any scam “lookalike” websites, as this can be a common scam. Check the URL you are visiting is www.gaiaflutes.com , and not a “similar” URL. We will always do our best to monitor and alert users if a “lookalike” website is found, however, please be aware we cannot be held liable for damages or losses for any individual’s interactions or purchases from any such sites.
From time to time, we send some of our site “members” (that is users that have created an account) newsletters with the latest information about Gaia Flutes, including any new products, discounts, prize draws and more.As these communications could be classed as “marketing”, they will only be sent to users who choose to receive them through either manually opting in through a request to us via email or our website, or those who have clicked to “opt in” at checkout when purchasing one of our products or services.
We care deeply about not spamming our site members. We only send occasional newsletter emails containing useful information that we feel like our users will enjoy. Opted in users may still opt out of these emails at any time by contacting us on the email address at the bottom of this policy.

We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this privacy notice unless otherwise required by law (for example tax, accounting, legal reasons).
9. User Requests Regarding Their Data
Under GDPR, you may have the right to request change, view or in some circumstances delete, the personal information we collect. To make any request, please email your request to us at info@gaiaflutes.com .
For deletion requests, some information may still be retained to prevent fraud, legal compliances, or to help us or governing authorities with any investigations. Please be aware, deletion of user data or/and a user account whilst they have online course access may result in the course access being revoked (if the user has no account, it is technically impossible for us to provide you with course access). The users accept this risk and that no refund will be issued in this case.
We will respond to requests as soon as feasibly possible.
10. Business Transfers
You agree that we may process or share your data in the event of a business transfer. That is any negotiation, sale, merger or acquisition of Gaia Flutes or a portion of Gaia Flutes to another company or individual, at any point in time. For example, this would ensure that you maintain access to your account or online course product smoothly with no disruption if Gaia Flutes were to be sold or acquired.

As mentioned in section 7, be aware of any fake/scam websites. We will always do our best to monitor and alert users if a “lookalike” website is found, however, please be aware we cannot be held liable for damages or losses for any individual’s interactions or purchases from any such sites. This includes how the site uses or handles your data.
